Okay so...

... coming back at 9pm wasn't as scary as I thought it'd be. And when you see the bus coming after a 10min wait but it doesnt stop in front of you, sometimes you really feel like giving up and walking back home. Cursing is not an option here (at least to me, except under really desperate circumstances), no matter how immersed you are in this British culture.

The wind can actually blow you off. Seriously. Grab an umbrella and be Mary Poppins for a day. Well, umbrella is a lost case now. Hoodie is my new best friend.

Interesting. Be home in erm, 24 days.

86 400 seconds in a day

Yeah, and I spent 1 800 seconds yesterday, standing outdoors at 10pm, waiting for the meteor shower after a tiring aerobic session. Rain and cold accompanied us under the umbrellas while we waited patiently for the shower. We didnt get meteor shower; we get rain shower. The company made the wait half as fun, though we gave up after half an hour. We're in our pjs, who'd want to wait outside?

Also, I spent 600 seconds on a prank call. Stupid guys. Told me not to use the electricity in my room. WTH. I knew these sort of calls are going around halls and I just wanted to know what sort of reasons they were going to come up. (Because I've heard worse, from my friends) But, hell, which office works at 12.40am at night, you tell me?? And, hello some people need to study, unless you, who makes prank calls at midnight. Mind you, tell the person behind you to stop smircking. Such a stupid plan.

Now you tell me, which is more stupid??

No Way You Can Ever Beat That

Remember the weekend that was?

Well, I take that back because the past weekend topped that, big time. Joanna visited from Edinburgh and a few of her friends (Alex and Chee Wei) came too. My first time in a private car and roamed around Manchester at 2am on a Saturday night/morning. What did you expect?? Of course, girls in skimpy dress put me in awe while Manchester's chilly wind made me shiver under multiple layers of fabrics. And bubble tea - awesome! Church on Sunday morning (a wonder we even made it) and dim sum in Glamorous. Cool Malaysian company. Told ya this weekend was the best.

Of course, everything comes with a price. In my case, 3 essays due in less than 2 weeks.

They just have to come all at once

And so another busy 6 weeks ahead of me. They really just have to come at the same time.

Long Overdue

Every evening, after dinner, I check my mailbox and the notice board if there're any letters or parcels for me.

Every evening, after dinner, disappointment engulfs.

Today, I checked, my neighbour has 2 letters with United Arab Emirates stamps. I, on the other hand, have a full load of bank statements. Many times, nothing.

The biggest parcel I've ever received was the printer I bought from Argos.

Consideration is so not considerate

10 hours and countless cups of coffee later, I'm finally done with Consideration. What's left is the seminar questions (and so much more work to go).

Reading week is coming to an end soon. I've spent so much this week, on food mainly.

Fireworks were awesome. Muddy ground, but the fireworks and cool company made it a wonderful night. Although I wanna cry after a look at my shoes, it's still a night worth remembering. And yes, I washed my shoes (for the first time in Manc) when I came back. >.<

6 more weeks till home.

1, 2, 3, Action!

Law in action - Exciting! Witnessed first hand sentencing, with reporters from BBC and CNN.

Law in books - Room in a terribly messy situation with books spread out everywhere, on the bed, on the table, on the chair. Papers with notes all over the room.

'nuff said. Reading week seriously is reading week.
